How do you say goodbye?

"Deuces." Says Nic.
"Peace out, gangsta." Says me.

Is it weird that Nic and I will sometimes say goodbye this way?

A friend of ours had a similar "conversation" when saying goodbye to her husband while on campus around some of her single girlfriends. Her girlfriends were seriously concerned for our friend and her marriage when they witnessed such behavior. Nic and I died laughing because our dialogue is similar.

Just because we are married does not mean we need to have a long embrace followed by a smooch every single time we say goodbye. That is just not reality. And quite frankly would probably get annoying.

Agree? Or, disagree? Maybe we are weird and should be concerned for our marriage...
