Weekly Workout: April 8-14

This is week 2 of half marathon training. My runs went really well last week. I was happy about being able to keep my goal pace. This week I want to shoot for under the 8:30/mile pace. Last week I was able to do that a couple of the running days. I was not on task with my workouts last week so I want to do better at that this week. I also want to eat healthier this week. I was tempted by the Easter candy but this week I am going to practice some self control! Anyways, here is the workout...enjoy!

Monday
Run 3 miles (8-8:30/mile pace)
Fitness class

Tuesday
Elliptical 30 min.
5 rounds:
Front/side lat raise (8 reps, 10 lbs.)
Dancer squat (12 reps)
In and outs on ball (15 reps)

Wednesday
Run 4 miles (8-8:30/mile pace)
Fitness class

Thursday
Run 3 miles (8-8:30/mile pace)

Friday
Stationary bike 30 min
5 rounds:
Box jumps (10 reps)
Mountain climbers (50 reps)
Tricep push-ups on bench (12 reps)

Saturday
Run 5 miles (8-8:30/mile pace)

Sunday
Rest
